The Excelsior

Designer Rebecca Goldberg's concept for The Excelsior model, from the Grand Lake Estates Collection in The Sanctuary, was to maintain the home's traditional architectural elements such as the groin vaulted ceilings, but be clean lined and exude warmth. The concept was brilliantly achieved with a color palette using warm cherry and maple woods and soft caramel and apricot colors, contrasted by rich dark furnishings.

The handsome paneled clubroom adjoining the formal living room is a comfortable retreat for cocktails and conversation. The spacious second floor of the home has been designed with four bedrooms, two study areas and a versatile loft.
